I teach over Zoom/Skype, and if you’re in Austin we can do in person. I’ve taught private lessons for many years, led guitar masterclasses, and taken part in student clinics with Forq, Snarky Puppy, and Bokanté. I bring years of experience on the bandstand, mentorship from some of the best musicians in the world, and a degree in music from the University of North Texas. Lesson topics include:

• Guitar/Bass: Basics, rhythm guitar, soloing, understanding the fretboard, improvising, jazz, blues, funk

• Composition & Arranging: Strings, horns, big band, transcription

• Music Theory: Beginner music theory, scales and keys, functional harmony, rhythms, reading music

• Software & Workflow: Sibelius, Musescore, Logic Pro, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve
